Squamish Development Update | May

You guessed it, the real estate market in Squamish is still on fire, so much so that because of overwhelming demand, Bosa has decided to launch the first phase of Waterfront Landing early (sales starting May 12th!).

Find out everything you need to know about Squamish pre-sales below.

Waterfront Landing

Phase One of Waterfront Landing is going on sale this weekend!!

This phase includes 88 two and three-bedroom townhomes, some featuring revenue suites.

This is the first development on the Squamish waterfront with prices starting at $689K. Waterfront Landing is a multi-phased development which will be built-out over the next decade. It will eventually have a pedestrian draw bridge which will connect the site to downtown Squamish, a state of the art amenity centre plus a network of trails and parks to enjoy.

Sales are starting for phase one Waterfront Landing this Saturday (May 12th).

Sales appointments will be booked on a first-come, first-serve basis in Squamish and Vancouver so if you haven’t already you can request an appointment here: http://go.pardot.com/l/321631/2018-05-07/32b4r

We have represented buyers for several new construction projects in Squamish so if you’re looking to have your needs represented during the transaction please let us know and we will accompany you to the appointments, help you choose the best investment, and advise you as you sign contracts and review paperwork.

Please note, we are real estate agents and if you are already working with another agent here in Squamish or in Vancouver, we are not able to assist you!

Jumar

There are still some Jumar condos for sale. This is the only condo project for sale in Squamish this year with completions summer 2020. There are some one, two and three bedroom floorplans remaining starting in the mid- $400Ks.

Plaza at Junction Park

Solterra’s latest project, Plaza at Junction Park, is awaiting rezoning.

The project is set to be a two tiered residential/ commercial building on the waterfront on Cleveland Ave featuring Squamish’s first eight-story building.

The first two floors would be designated parking, commercial and office space, while the remaining would be condos.

It’s not determined when this project will go on sale, but will likely get passed in the coming months.

Garibaldi Springs

The proposed Garibaldi Springs Development was voted down at the third reading by Council on the 8th of May. Polygon will now need to decide to re-submit a proposal in order to develop on this site. At this stage it does not look like the project will move forward.

Passive House Development

The first passive house development in Squamish will be starting this summer. Presented by LTO Developments these townhomes will 90 percent less energy then a traditional home. The development will include eight 3-4 bedroom towhomes in Central Squamish and will go on sale in the coming weeks.

The Team of Move to Squamish are happy to provide you with information and represent you during the purchase of a pre-sale free of charge. We have recently had an overwhelming number of buyers contact us who are already represented by other agents. Since we are real estate agents (not affiliated with the developers of the above-mentioned properties), due to a conflict of interest we are unable to correspond with you if you are already working with another agent. Please your agent directly to request any of the information above.

Thanks,

Meghan and Nanci
